Ancient coins are indeed the metal mirror of history. These round coin images are reflections from the oracles’ black mirror. The once-powerful kings and rulers are now mostly forgotten or transformed into little stories. The Gods, myths, legends and superstitions that played such an active role in iconography of this all inspiring universe are sadly now gone. They are relegated to the sedimentary layers of our collective unconscious. Yet they still feed our imagination, desires and even our inventions.
